A 52-year-old man hiking in Blewett Pass in the Cascades in Washington state decided his .40-caliber handgun was too uncomfortable in its holster. He moved the gun to his back pocket to see if that position would be more comfortable. The gun unintentionally discharged and the bullet hit his left buttock, continued into his left leg, and came to rest just above his knee. The hiker was treated at a local hospital.
Ohh shoot.
