9-year-old gets hold of undercover cop's gun, unintentionally injures brother

A 9-year-old Orange County, Florida boy was sitting in the backseat of an undercover officer's unmarked black SUV. The officer, who is also a football coach, was taking the boys to practice. When he left the boys alone in the car the boy reached into a bag in the front seat and took the officer's gun out of the bag. He thought the gun was unloaded. A neighbor on the porch heard the shot go off and says the younger brother immediately started saying he was sorry.
The wounded brother suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. He was taken to the local hospital where he was treated and released.
Ohh shoot.
