Charles Jack of Girard, Kansas was in his yard gardening Saturday morning when he was struck with a stray bullet. The bullet penetrated both of his legs. Sheriffs discovered Jack's neighbors, William McManis and Carla Jackett had been target shooting with a .40-caliber handgun. They were shooting into a piece of plywood that was placed in front of a small bale of hay. They hadn't realized that one of the bullets had traveled the 3/10 of a mile south and hit their neighbor in the legs.
Ohh shoot.
