Bystander trying to shoot carjacker unintentionally shoots victim instead

Houston, Texas police are reporting a man was shot in the head during an incident at a Valero gas station in north Houston around 11 o'clock Saturday night.

The victim was in the parking lot when two men jumped out and took the victim's Chevrolet pickup truck.

At that point another man who witnessed the carjacking pulled out a gun and started shooting at the suspects.  He unintentionally shot the carjacking victim in the head.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.  Police are looking for both the suspects and the witness who did the shooting.  Police said the witness picked up shell casings in the parking lot and left the scene before they could question him.

I don't understand that what is the use of taking a gun everywhere. America having a gun culture from past some decades is responsible for all these incidents. People may easily buy illegal weapons without any fear. You must go and visit the Firearm Training Center Boston and join the Firearms safety training classes to know how people are trained to get the licensed gun.

The idea that someone has to strap a killing machine to their bodies everyday before going out in public goes well beyond a self defense motive. There's about 12,000 deaths by gun shot in America every year(minus suicides). That's what I call an irrational fear. 12,000 out of 310 million, yet these paranoids think it will be them. I guess the more people carrying guns, the better their chances of getting shot. Now that's a self fulling prophesy.
