An 18-year-old Medford, Oregon teen was injured when the .22-caliber handgun he had stuck in the waistband of his pants fell and unintentionally discharged. Carlos B. was getting out his car when the gun fell and fired, hitting him in the leg.
When police recovered the gun they found the serial number had been scratched off. Carlos has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and could face an additional charge of possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
Ohh shoot.
