Man visiting nursing home drops gun, doesn't notice gun is gone

David Motel was visiting a friend at a nursing home in Johnstown, Pennsylvania when a .22-caliber pistol fell out of his pocket. Motel did not notice that the gun was missing. Six days later an employee of the nursing home spotted the gun and picked it up, thinking it was a toy gun. The pistol was loaded with five rounds and had no trigger guard. She unintentionally fired the gun, The bullet went into the wall.
Motel was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He also lost his concealed weapons permit. The nursing home prohibits firearms and even though Motel had visited the facility six times he told police he never noticed signs on the door prohibiting guns.
Ohh shoot.
